McKnight, Executive Director
Katy
joined the Texas Horse Council in the Summer of 2004. She is
the heart and soul of the council and takes care of our day
to day operations including administration, memberships, maintaining
the website just to name a few of her many job duties. She represents
THC at trade shows and meetings and occasionally travels to
Austin to see what is going on with our legislature. She has
a strong administrative background and has worked with horses
most of her life. Currently she rides a bay gelding, Ringo who
is her pride and joy.
She enjoys riding for the sheer pleasure and occasionally
gets to go on a trail ride when her 2 year old daughter is in
agreement and is also interested in cutting and reining. Katy
lives in Morgan Mill, Tx and runs the THC there. Currently at
her place there are 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 horse along with the
joy of her life, daughter Becca. You can contact Katy via email:
